We would like to take a moment and thank you for choosing Vitello’s Cleaning Service for your cleaning needs. We strive to exceed our customer’s expectations. However, in order to have a smooth business relationship here is our company policies and procedures.

Vitello’s Cleaning Service is open Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. We are licensed, bonded, and insured.

Phone Calls: We try to answer each call as it comes in, but there are times while cleaning we cannot answer a call. Calls will be returned by 6pm the same business day. Calls received on Saturday and Sunday will be returned as soon as possible, but sometimes not until Monday morning.

Scheduling Appointments: We take appointments by phone or e-mail. If you need to be put on the schedule quickly the phone is the best way to contact us. E-mail is checked once in the morning at 7am and once in the evening at 7pm.E-mail is great if you have a question that does not need an immediate answer or would like to book an appointment a few days in advance. Appointments are booked as they come in. That is why if you are in need of same day service or an appointment as quickly as we can get you on the schedule the phone is the best way to go.

Cancellations: If a client cancels with less than 48 hours before appointment (unless an emergency occurs) a cancellation fee of $25 will be charged. If Vitello’s Cleaning Service must cancel, then no cancellation fee will be charged.

Payments/Refunds: Payment is due on the same day as the cleaning. Cash or check or credit card is accepted. Checks are to be made out Vitello’s Cleaning Service. If a check is not accepted by our bank the client is responsible for the amount of the check plus the bank’s NSF fee in cash. If a client is not happy with the quality of the work we will re-clean within 24 hours. If a re-clean is not possible then a partial refund will be issued.

Safety: Vitello’s Cleaning Service will not go higher than a 3 step ladder. We reserve the right to leave the home if we feel our personal safety is in danger from either another human being or animal. We do not clean up blood, vomit, human or animal feces. We assume no liability to damage or loss of items that were not properly stored or secure. We do not touch desks unless they are straightened, empty, or asked by the client. We assume no responsibility to papers on desks.

Entrance to a home: If you choose to be home during a cleaning that is perfectly fine with us. Actually we encourage it if this is the first time in your home, but it is not necessary. Some clients provide us with keys or codes to enter their home. We wish to assure you your keys are not marked with any identifiable tag that could be traced back to you or your home. However, we take great care to follow in place procedures so that keys are not lost. 

Cleaning Supplies: We provide our own supplies. Regular house hold cleaners: Comet, Pledge, Scrubbing Bubbles, ECT. However if you prefer a certain product that we do not have we ask that you provide it. Green cleaning has become popular lately. If that is something that you would like to explore let us know, and we will be happy to provide those products.

Changes to Cleaning Routine: We understand that even a regular client may not have the same cleaning needs each and every time. If you would like to make a change to your cleaning routine such as an oven cleaning or refrigerator cleaning to your basic cleaning please let us know in advance. If it is one extra item the only cost increase will be the time it takes. However, if it is 2 or more items a you will be charged the deep cleaning rate for the entire clean. We also ask that if at all possible the house should be picked up prior to our arrival. If we must spend time picking up trash left lying around, or client’s personal items the cleaning will take longer and the charge will be adjusted accordingly.

Receipts: Receipts are saved on the company computer. If a client would like a receipt please let us know. We will print one up or e-mail it to you. You may request a receipt from any of your cleanings at any time. (From October 2008-present)
